Crediting your sella account by bank deposit

Payment options

Please note that crediting your sella account will not increase your sella credibility, this money is for adding enhancements to your listings only. This money can also not be used to pay for items that you purchase on the site either.

$5 - minimum payment

You can make an Electronic Payment via Internet or Phone banking. 

Sella is setup as a pre-assigned biller with all major NZ banks.  This allows you to credit your sella account using internet or phone banking.

Step 1. Set up sella as a bill payment

For phone banking, you will need to phone your bank and add sella as a bill payment. You will be asked your email address, and your member username

For online payments, most banks will allow you to perform this step on their website, but some require you to set up bill payments by phone.  Search for sella on the banks payment website to find us.

Step 2. Make a payment

Once you are set up, call your phone banking system, or log in to the appropriate online bank and make your payment. 

It is very important to include your member name as a reference on your payment - this is available from the My Sella page.  Payments made without your member number do not contain sufficient information for us to reconcile, and will not be credited to your account.

Please note that even though electronic transactions are deducted from your account instantly, they are not transferred to our account until the following business day. Eg payments made on Friday at 7pm will not be processed until the following Tuesday.

Any listings that you have recently created listing will be available on the drafts page for you.
